It was evident that George was not Apache. His blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin made him stick out. However in his heart, he was Apache. He showed his appreciation to Nantan and the whole tribe by grasping their traditions and culture. He dressed as they did, he ate what they did, and he danced at the Pow Wows just like they did. As the years went by, George forgot about his past life, except in his dreams. After fighting through his dreams all night, George was awakened by Nantan. He told the village how the union between his daughter, Ekta, and Taza was to bring strength and peace to the two tribes and how their offspring would unite and rule as the supreme Apache Warrior. Then the crowd went silent as six warriors with torches approached the center of the village. George was amazed at the choreographed march. Each step was synchronized. They moved with such gracefulness. Then George spotted her. She walked in between the two columns of warriors. Ekta was the most beautiful woman George had ever seen. Her long black hair shone in the flickering flames. She moved as graceful as the warriors. Her deer skin dress hugged her body like it had been melted to her. She had a fur around her neck that flowed down her arms. Each step she took, her legs caught George’s eyes. Her long stride made apparent the firmness of her legs. Her feet were donned with a piece of leather on the bottom and a braided ...
