interested. Right now, she didn’t even want to think about it. Regardless of what it was that he wanted, it was taking her mind off the dull pain that she had been dealing with all day. She visited the changing room; quickly brushed out her hair, and applied a little lip-gloss. As she headed toward the front she stopped and looked down at her self, then opened several buttons down the front. ‘Karla. What are you doing?’ She was quite calm in thinking this through. Then she answered herself. ‘You have no idea what you are doing, but then, I need a break, and who knows what will come of it. Plus, what have I got to loose?’ She had politely put off Chuck’s advances in the past. She really didn’t see herself linked up with Chuck in any serious kind of way, and didn’t want to muddy up her professional life with some fling with the restaurant owner. Sooner or later those things always go bad, and she took her work very seriously. Tonight, however, she just wanted to push all those concerns aside, and so she was feeling a little reckless.
