rear-view mirror, Tess felt horrified. What if the driver was taking her to meet Sam? Surely that couldn’t be it. The cabbie gave a laugh, indicating and doing a right turn, towards the town centre. “Sam? Come off it, that’s nothing, not even worth calling an innocent flirt, let alone a serious fantasy.” Tess almost hit the ceiling. It was as if the man had read her thoughts. Then with a jolt, it occurred to her that this wasn’t a dissimilar situation to the videos she’d watched. Why hadn’t she thought of that before? Her eyes began scanning the back of the cab for cameras, finding one. “Please!” she shrieked. Suddenly the reality felt very different to the fantasy. “Please take me home! I-I-I… I don’t really want to. I mean, I’m sure it would be… But, it’s just…” The cabbie was laughing again. “No, Love,” he said. “That’s not it. I won’t be laying a finger on you, I promise.” Tess felt confused. “Then what…?” “Here’s the thing, Love,” the cabbie said. “I’m what you might call your Guardian.” Tess felt her entire existence turn inside out. “My Guardian?” she whispered. “Why would I need a Guardian?” The cabbie’s shoulders moved. “Because of what you want, deep down.” He paused. “Like I said, you people never know what it is you really want. There was a difference. Maybe that was the problem, ...
that her ex-husband was much the same, forever asking her what she wanted, if she was comfortable, instead of just getting on with it. The cabbie was indicating again, pulling into a dim, nearly completely empty car park behind a set of buildings with concrete walls. “Well, here we are,” he said. “What are we doing here?” Tess asked. The cabbie sighed, turning as he switched the engine off. Staring into his pixelated face felt like staring into the abyss. “It’s fantasy time,” he said. Tess took a deep breath. Whatever was planned, she had a feeling it was something out of the ordinary. There had to be a way out. Her mind went automatically to the videos she watched. “Please,” she said. “You can get in the back with me if you want, and do what you like. If you’ll just take me home.” She felt dirty saying it, remembering how she’d watched other women in this situation as she stroked her pussy through her knickers the previous evening. The cabbie laughed. “Here’s the thing, Love. Much as I’d like to get in the back and get busy, my job is to deliver you and make sure you’re all right.” “Deliver me?” Tess said, feeling outraged, but not quite able to sound it. “You make it sound like I’m some parcel.” The cabbie shrugged. “Look,” he said, “pointing to a door set in a concrete wall. You and me, we go in there, right? There’s a guy in there we talk to, you see how you feel. Nothing happens without your say so. How does that sound?” It sounded mad. There was no way of knowing if she ...
