1. The Program or World Editing Software (revisited)

    of course, not currently running. I was getting a bit anxious when a Close button suddenly appeared on the pop-up window, I clicked it and the window disappeared. I was left staring at my Desktop, everything in place with the exception of a new globe icon with the name &#034Your World Editor&#034. What was I going to do? The window had claimed that the program would go dormant unless I used it, could I trust a pop-up though? I spent the next hour trying to find a way to get rid of the program, to no avail. Nothing I found could help me rid myself of the mystery software, everything that should have worked failed to register anything by that name or location existing. Great! Now what?! Deciding to think on it, I worked on my homework for the next few hours and managed to push the problem to the back of my mind. Two hours later I sighed deeply and closed my binder on my homework; my head hurt from figuring out the integrations and I was glad to be done with it for the night. Turning to my computer I was confronted with my other headache and, call me crazy, I opened the program. It quickly opened, taking up the full screen, with a Help window welcoming me to the program, congratulating me on taking the first step, and pointing me towards the Help tab at the top. Before doing anything I surveyed the screen, the bottom right corner had a square border around it, sectioning it off, and with another bordered section adjacent that closed off the rest of the bottom half.     what the 3, counting the top half, sections would display as I started checking out the tabs at the top. I quickly discovered that most options in the tabs were greyed out, maybe I had to unlock them somehow before I could see them, probably with a credit card. After 15 minutes of browsing a pop-up appeared that prompted me to run the initialization and start using the program so, call me crazy, I clicked Ok and waited. It took a few seconds but the screen filled up, the top half contained a list of attributes that looked like dropdowns, the bottom had several views of me sitting in my chair, and the corner had a dot on a map that looked a lot like where I live. I stood up and, after a brief lag, the views of me on the screen followed suit. Freaky. I clicked through some of the dropdowns and they seemed to cover everything from my health to my eyesight to the rate of growth of my hair and, as if it wasn't weird enough, a very long tab covering everything sexual I could think of and more. As an avid RPG player I immediately started looking for a Revert and a Save button, two very important things to find before you start making changes to a character and even more important if that character is you. I wasn't compeltely sold on it being me, or my laptop now having superpowers, but it was starting to look like either that or a ridiculously elaborate prank and I wasn't going to take chances.
