    It was yet another day at the bookstore, my life was actually going pretty well, my new Camaro was lookin sharp, I had just had the windows tinted and bought some hot looking new rims, all was going well.....or so it seemed. I entered work and the girls were all giggling and jabbering excitedly....I stopped Lisa , “ Whats all the commotion? Whats up?” “ Nick hired some new guy, starts tomorrow” “ What are you talking about , there arent any positions open?” “ Well I guess he made one, hes over there” I stood there stunned, this guy?? Across the store he stood , talking to two of the other cashiers, a emo k**??? well later I discovered he had just turned 18, but he looked like a k**, not to mention, I catch shit for my lip ring and there he stood....skinny jeans,,scene k** multicolored hair doo, snake bites, ….eyeliner.......and lipstick??????!!!!! Was he here to replace me?was he a threat? Was he gunna be competition with the girls?I had a lot of questions, only two things seemed obvious............ One....I was attracted, hell he looked more like a hot goth girl than any guy..........and two..... Nick....my boss.....he was up to something.... I interrupted the girls jabbering, “ Hey.... Im the assistant manager, just call me Daxx, welcome to our little corner of hell” I laughed “ I guess we'll start your training tomorrow, Ill see you then” I walked toward the break room, I gave Nick, a look that would kill as I passed his office, he pretended not to notice as he looked at ...
    some paperwork, yeah....somethings up... The next day, I took my lil emo friend under my wing, keep your friends close, your enemies closer they say,he honestly seemed like a really decent guy, I wondered if he knew what he was in the middle of? I caught our Nick, more than once ,starring at us as we bent over to lift boxes of books, Im sure he was getting more than a little frustrated, see me being his assistant meant I do all the grunt work, this includes the work schedule , and I had went far out of my way to make certain...my lil emo was always with me and never where he could be alone with Nick, of course it didnt help that I was taking every opportunity to torture him, pushing my ass against his crotch, as I excused myself around him at the register counter, the accidental touch of the hand in less than obvious places, he had started this, and though we had no set rules, I was not going out ….easily..whether he was my boss or not. All this being said, I was beginning to get more than a little frustrated myself,I couldnt read this k**, was he even aware of what was going on? What did he want? Hell, was he straight or not!!??? We were closing one night together, putting up a rather large order, and the girls had all left ,I decided I was going to have to take a risk, I was going to have to help Nick to help myself .
