    ok?” They walked back in and sat down as Rhonda smiled at them over her desk. “I’m mindful that you’d like some reassurance and also that the girls have been sitting around for a while, so I’d like to ask you both to come back tomorrow morning if that’s suitable?” They both nodded. “In cases of this nature I like to review my notes carefully and take some time to think back and recall our discussions, as there are cases where what wasn’t said is just as important as what they may have told me.” They agreed to meet again the following morning and thanked her for her time. They drove home feeling relieved they had taken a first step, but wondering what Rhonda would say tomorrow when she had reviewed her notes and her interviews with the girls. While they understood her reasons for asking for time, it created a sense of uncertainty that was unsettling. Tony tried to ease Cyn's concerns by comparing this to a visit to the doctor and waiting for the test results, though her expression suggested he may have missed the feel-good target. They stayed up talking until quite late before heading for bed, but for understandable reasons it took a while before they drifted off to sl**p.
