    One of my mother's best c***dhood friends came to stay with us when I had just turned 18. My mother and Karen had been best friends since high school and went to the same college. They knew each other real well and it had been hard on my mother when Karen moved to another state after she got married. That was over 10 years ago.     I was staying home so she would always be able to get help from me. I really like Karen, she was like an aunt to me and always so nice. So of course, I would help her if she needed anything. The same evening as my parent's had departed for their two week trip, I heard some crying from Karen's room. I was not sure what to do and decided to leave her alone since she had her door closed and most likely needed some privacy. I cooked dinner and made enough for Karen. So when it was time to eat, I went up to Karen's room and knocked on the door. I called out and asked if she wanted some dinner I had prepared?
