It is a shocking experience, recalling moments from your distant past and realizing very little remains of the person you were then. It happened to me recently, I stumbled upon an old photograph, long forgotten, at the bottom of a seldom used drawer. A real photograph, from the days before everyone had a camera in their pocket everywhere they went. Before people photographed every meal they ate, back when photos recorded special occasions and important events. This photo, found at the bottom of my drawer, was taken on a special occasion, as it turns out, quite possibly the most important occasion of my life. The fact that the occasion evidenced by this photo even occurred is nearly a miracle in its own right.
