accomplished. I still get chills to this day thinking about it. Her drinking had all but stopped. We would have a few beers or cocktails together from time to time, but she didn't get plastered. She would drink at work too, but never got drunk like she use to. I knew she had come to terms with her sisters death when she asked me to take her to her sisters grave. I stood with her for several minutes and she let me pay my respects. After that she asked for some privacy. The way she asked me gave me chills. She pressed her body against mine and looked straight up at me. I got butterflies and let me tell you, there were sparks. I thought she was going to kiss me. She then put her hand on my chest and the look in her eyes. Oh god I wanted to kiss her so bad. I stepped away and walked over to a bench where I could see her. I sat down and watched her get on her knees. She started crying and talking to her sister. I watched her hands and arms move as she did so. There towards the end I saw her look over at me a few times. She smiled and waved at me one time. I sat there for quite a while, but I was so happy for her. I watched her change from a very angry and sad woman, to a very happy, very strong and content woman. She had come so far. After just over an hour later I saw her stand up and turn towards me. "Thank you." She said. "You're very welcome. How do you feel?" I asked. "Better than I ever have." She said. "Good. You have come a very long ways, I am very, very proud of you." I said. "Thank you. I feel really amazing right now." She said. "You should. You should be very proud of yourself." I said. "I am. But I have you to thank too." She said as she grabbed my hand and held it. "Why, I didn't do anything. You are the one who did all the work." I said. "Oh my god, ok, Adam you have to listen to me." She said as she let go of my hand, sighed, turned the radio down and turned to me. "You seriously need to stop fucking saying that. It's getting very irritating, in fact it's starting to piss me off. I know you've only said that a couple of times, but still." She said. "Say what?" I asked knowing that I just got into trouble and looking at her surprised. I had a grin because this reaction, was the very last one that I expected from her. "That you didn't fucking do anything. You need to understand that yeah, you did. You can say that you didn't do anything all you want, but I know for a fact that you did, and you still help me. That's why it pisses me off when you say that. I know you genuinely believe in your heart that you didn't do anything to help me, but there is no denying it for me, none! ...
