    Jake and I have been dating for a year. Lately, to be honest, our sex life has been kind of boring and I've been hinting about it. But he doesn't seem to be taking the hint. I resolve to say something this weekend, which is our 'anniversary' and he is taking me somewhere. I am unsure where; he says it's a surprise. Which is kind of exciting in itself.     hadn't been expecting it. I laugh; he smiles as though he has won something. After about twenty minutes of driving I begin asking more questions as we are now going away from the city. If we were going to dinner we would be going to a restaurant in the city I thought. that's what we normally do to celebrate things. When I ask questions like, "You're not kidnapping me are you?" I chuckle lightheartedly. He responds with, "No of course not." He looks at me lovingly, reassuringly, and then says, "Will you please do me a favor and put this blindfold on?" I'm a little taken aback, scared, but also excited. All of these emotions at once confuse me no end. I oblige a little reluctantly. We drive, with me blindfolded, another fifteen maybe twenty minutes, I am unsure exactly how much time has passed but I am aware that we are in the middle of nowhere because we took a lot of twists and turns. I'm still a little scared. Finally, the car comes to a stop and Jake opens his door and says, "Stay here, and no peaking now. I mean it." He says this with a little edge to his voice.
