In the kitchen I found a pair of large sewing scissors. They were made of stainless steel and were surprisingly heavy. The blades were silver and incredibly sharp. Such a regular household item suddenly seemed dangerous. I opened and closed them. They made the sharp kind of sound that scissors make. I didn’t want to give them to her but at the same time, I didn’t think Cooper was particularly dangerous. Yes, he was rough and had a dirty mouth but he wasn’t like a serial sadist, right? Right ?
