It was a Friday night in mid-July and Trevor was on his way home from work. He worked for a local farmer and had been putting up hay since early that morning, and it carried on late and he did not leave until after dusk, as it was pushing 11 pm now. The field they were working was about 20 miles away from his town. He was about halfway back into town driving down the same dirt roads that he travels every day, when he spotted a young woman along the side of the road, holding out her thumb. He had never stopped for a hitchhiker before, but he thought this this girl could be no harm, in fact she might be in distress and he could leave her in harm's way if he passed by. So he pulled over. As he approached closer, he got a better look of this young woman and almost thought he had to pinch himself, noticing her sexy small, curvy body accentuated by her tight fitting clothes, just to make sure he wasn’t dreaming. He stopped the car next to her. Zoe felt like an idiot. She should’ve walked into that motel about five, maybe ten, miles back – she was cold and her feet ached. She only had on a pair of faded jean shorts and a tight white tank top that had been tinged by the dust picked up from the road, the straps of her red bra exposed over her shoulders. She felt relieved when the car stopped. ...

A tall, handsome, well-built man with dirty blonde hair wearing a dusty blue buttoned down plaid shirt and a pair of faded ripped jeans. "H-Hey, Sir. Can I have a lift to the next town, please?" He looked at her with a smile, hardly believing his luck as he checked her out momentarily before noticing that she's very cold. "Sure, I'm on my way into town. Hop on in." He watched as she opened the door, slid in, and waited for her to be settled into her seat before he began driving ahead. "So what brings you out here in the middle of nowhere at this hour all by yourself?" Zoe wrapped her arms around her torso and frowns deeply. "Um I'm kinda homeless. I've been kicked out of my parent's house. Said I'm useless at everything. So I really don't know why I ended up here in middle of nowhere...,” she explained, giving a shrug and looking out the window. Trevor looked over at her, smiled sympathetically, and carried on driving down the road. "Well is there anywhere in town that you can stay? A boyfriend's or a friend's house?" Smiling softly, Zoe rolled her eyes with a heavy sigh. "Sorry, no boyfriend and I have no friends around here. Just drop me off at a motel. The cheapest one." She combed her long dark brown hair with her fingers. "I'm skint," she laughed very softly with a headshake while hugging her only luggage, a small rucksack. He glanced back over at her. "Well I could, but the only place is town is a nasty roach ...
