in. Like Josh had said, by eight thirty the chicks started to arrive and by ten, the place was crowded. Of course, Tim was now very relaxed, that is to say, drunk. He wandered around looking for people he knew. Only a month ago, he tended bar at Skips, so he knew most of the customers. Ordinarily, Tim would give a girl a friendly hug but he wasn't in the mood for hugs. That was apparent when he greeted girls with a remotely sounding, "Hi" or "Hey." Finally, Sally came up to him and said, "Hey Tim, what's goin' on? You look a little down." Sally was a plain looking girl but friendly. She might have been prettier if she styled her hair and wore clothes that were more in fashion. She seemed to be hiding a magnificent body, but it was hard to tell wearing clothes that were popular a decade ago. "Yeah, it's Sally, right?" Tim answered with a heavy slur. "Sure. We met last month at Becky's party. You were with someone, but I can't remember her name." "Sally. It was Sally, We broke up last night." He said it as if someone had plunged a dagger into his heart.
