Before my very eyes she began to change into light itself, her body become a million minuscule particles no bigger than the fireflies and then each particle becoming a million particles and each of them dividing again until she was nothing but dust, bright beautiful stardust that shone like heaven itself and she floated into the air amid a concaphony of fireflies in an exquisitely beautiful dance, a mating dance of light, light making light.     stood in awe, in rapt silence, watching the goddess become before our very eyes a star again. And she was gone. Jeanie took hold of my hand and we stood and watched as the fireflies slowly calmed and returned to their normal rhythmic blinking.
