been up. I told him that I was up when mom and dad left. I told him what dad said about the chores and he said if I would make him some toast he would hurry and get dressed. When we finally stopped and looked around the basement it was clean and looking good. Eric said that he thought it would pass dad’s inspection. We took one more walk around to be sure before heading back upstairs. We warmed up our lunch that mom left for us. I didn’t realize how hungry I was until I started eating.
