    conversation had gone over so smoothly. The boys continued to sit in front of the fire for the next few hours talking about their earlier adventures, upcoming quidditch matches, and their ongoing search for Nicholas Flamel. When dinner time arrived they hurried down to the Great Hall with George and Fred. The meal was just as amazing as the previous night's feast had been. Afterwards they retired back to the dormitories. Harry and Ron lay there talking for awhile before Ron excused himself to the restroom. A few minutes later a faint thumping noise and low moans could be heard. Harry smiled knowing exactly what Ron was doing in the bathroom and who he was doing it with. Before Ron had returned Harry had drifted off to sleep. Harry awoke a few hours later to find it still the middle of the night. He saw that Ron was back in bed and snoring loudly. Harry tried to fall back asleep but it was no hope. He wasn't tired and Ron was snoring way too loudly. It crossed his mind to wake Ron up but as he was getting up to shake Ron he remembered the parchment and the page number. He wondered if there were more pages in the book in the restricted section. The only way to find out was to go and look again. After searching for a few hours with no luck, Harry began his journey back up to the dormitory. As he rounded a corner in a hallway he almost ran directly into Mr. Filtch. This caught Harry so off guard, as he had never seen anyone the time before, he quickly backed back around the ...
    corner and went through the closest door. The room was a strange one that looked like it was used for storage as it had broken desk and various other things in no particular layout scattered around the room. The only noticeable piece of furniture was a beautiful mirror that stood in one of the corners. Harry walked over to the mirror and discovered a large group of people standing right behind him. After jumping about a mile he calmed himself and looked closer at the reflections. There were two people, one male and one female, on either side of him holding onto his shoulders. Harry could not feel their hands but he liked the way their hands looked on him. It was a warm feeling that one would get from being held by a loved one or perhaps a parent. At this thought Harry looked up and realized who they must be. "Mom...Dad..." he said shakily out loud. They both nodded. Amazed and equally stunned that he was looking at his parents for the first time he sat down with the mirror until the early morning just watching them. He had no idea what time it was but he could see the faintest bit of light coming under the door and knew he must leave. He told his parents that he would be back the following night to see them again. They smiled as he turned to leave the room. It was early morning when Harry arrived back in the dormitory so he got back in bed and fell asleep. He had wonderful dreams of his parents which filled him with very happy feelings.
