    Hello my love, I've come to your office to steal you away for a long lunch. As we walk outside I suggest a walk in the park. So as we stroll hand in hand along the winding pathway the air is cool and we snuggle closer. Despite the cool weather the birds are chirping, the squirrels and rabbits are scurrying about. Around the next curve we come upon a play ground where the children are playing. I suggest that we sit and watch for a while. You say yes I'd love to so we snuggle close on the bench just across the walk from the play yard. The cool weather doesn't seem to bother the children as they swing, slide, climb, and run about squealing and laughing. Such a happy time they are having in the fresh air. They are all dressed in such bright happy colors. They are so cute with there Rosie cheeks and button noses. You begin to weep as you think about how it was that you so wanted to have children of your own, but that was not in Gods plan for you. I see the tears and lean in to kiss them away. Gently wiping every streak on your cheeks dry. Then giving you a big kiss on the lips. To which you respond and we kiss for a long while. Blocking out anyone and anything around us. As our kiss subsides I suggest we go get that lunch you are suppose to be having. And we stroll on to the little cafe down the lane. Once seated I order clam chowder, a roll and some hot tea. You order . . . a cesar chicken salad, side of fruit and water. I gaze lovingly at you, admiring your beautiful face, ...

The one person in my life who makes life worth living. As we eat we share our thoughts of things which need to be accomplished at home, as well as endearments for each other. I come over to your side of the table and lean down to kiss your sweet cheek, and whisper that I am so grateful for someone who understands me and comforts me when I feel badly, as I had earlier at the park. You reach up to caress my cheek and I put my arms around you, snuggling you close to me, as we hug in the comfort of knowing that we are sharing life with the person who truly makes us happy and cared for. "My dear," I say, "how would you feel about adopting a child this late in our lives? Do you think we are up to it? It will definitely change our love making patterns that we enjoy today. A child will bring so much love in a different way as our love is and make our life fuller. How young a child do you think you would want to adopt?
