I’ve not had much contact with auntie or cousin(s) since they moved away some 20 years ago, except for the occasional Christmas get together. I was surprised to be invited to be honest. For the afternoon jackets and dress trousers and thankfully for the evening casual – but nothing too outrageous! Being f****y, be it distant, I was seated behind my auntie and her f****y. Her husband had done a runner sometime ago, with a much younger model. Something he repeated with that woman a few years later and recently again!
