This is the third and final chapter of my first writing experiment. Hope you enjoy. Ryan had never been so confused in his young life. Three days ago he was finally in charge for the first time in the officer program. He had walked up to the cadet line that day as confident and dominant as he had ever been. For the last three years he had always been the smartest cadet, and he had been getting stronger and faster every day. He thought it was finally his time to be on the top of the pile, to be in charge, to give the orders instead of submitting. He was still nominally in charge of the first years.
