I thought I'd start off on our new direction for r/sexstories by going through some of places you can publish your sex stories. These are primarily places where your stories are going to be read on an e-reader or some type of mobile device. Of course they can also be read on traditional laptops and desktops when the correct app is downloaded. I believe this is the future for the publication of erotica. Old school sites where you publish your story to the web are still good, but the problem is increasing numbers people that enjoy writing this type of material have realized it is actually profitable to publish on the newer platforms. On the old school type of site the only person that profits from your work is that site's owner and not you the writer.The two primary players right now are:Amazon KDP - The largest and most lucrative venue for publishing your erotic fiction.Smashwords - They distribute stories over Amazon KDP, Apple's iBooks, Barns and Nobel's Nook Store, their own site and other smaller venues. You can also obviously go through Nook or iBooks directly if you like, but most people prefer to opt out Amazon on SmashWords and use it for Nook, iBooks and the other smaller venues as it makes life easier.I will also mentionGoogle Play is out there, but most find it a difficult place to publish erotic stories.
