Lying naked wrapped in your arms Your body so warm against mine It is easy to imagine in that moment That just maybe I can still be saved Lying there I can picture the jagged pieces That make up my tenuous existence Being delicately pieced back together Bound tightly by our invisible bond I listen to the sounds of you sleeping Slow deep breaths that each speak to me Quiet whispers of unspoken words Each breath somehow a comfort in itself Could the intensity of our emotions Rescue me from insurmountable fear Watching you sleep I find myself lost In hopeful dreams of many tomorrows Today was our second Valentines Day I knew when we shared our first one There was little guarantee of a repeat Tomorrow was a promise we couldn't make For we have each survived fear and loss Wrestling with feelings of guilt and sadness And somehow we never lost our optimism Finding our way back to each others embrace Feelings for you feed my soul and fill my mind Your touch washes over me in waves of joy Each kiss becoming its own beautiful memory And with every orgasm I am reborn again Pull my body tight into your strong embrace As my thoughts drift off to a land of slumber The warmth of your embrace soothing my soul Maybe living is not meant to be my miracle For as I lay here listening to you breathe Seeing a smile cross your face as you dream I finally realize finding you in this crazy world Maybe that is miracle enough for me Our story of hope is a modern day fairy tale, I knew we were special the first time we kissed In a world that can seem so cruel and unfair We found our own remarkable private world So I would like to make reservations for two For all foreseeable future Valentines Days I will melt into your embrace over and over Knowing this is enough, it always has been Miracles are said to be in the eyes of the beholder Watching you sleep I am witnessing mine unfold It took a trip to paradise for me to finally realize I am in my own paradise everytime you are near
