I gave a little wave as Nate Reynolds--the boy I had been completely infatuated with as a teenager--stepped into view and adjusted his slacks. "You know these two?" Shane whispered. Before I had a chance to answer, Nate and the redhead were heading straight for us. "My god, it really is you!" Nate laughed, clapping his hands excitedly. "Ria convinced the ride operator to shut down that Tunnel of Love--with the two of us and another couple still inside it." Nate looked at me with a twinkle in his eye. "Another couple huh? Sounds like you guys know how to have a good time." "Were they friends of yours?" Kara asked. "Best friends," I answered. Shane nodded, "We share an apartment with them, not far from here. They just got engaged tonight." Kara turned to her husband and whispered something in his ear. Whatever it was, Nate happily nodded his approval, then turned his attention back to me: “Kara and I just moved here last week, and we don’t really know anyone in the area. We’d love to make some new friends--maybe the six of us can all get together sometime? Go out to a baseball game or something?" "Like… a triple date," Kara explained, her seductive smile betraying the true intentions of their offer. I glanced over at Shane, who was having tremendous difficulty tearing his eyes off of the gorgeous young redhead and her skimpy dress. "Actually," I said, wrapping my arms around Shane's body, "if you guys don't have any other plans tonight, why don't you both come home with us and meet Tracy and Connor?
