dilemma was resolved sooner than I wanted or prayed. Ted passed less than three weeks after resigning. It turned out that he’d lied to everyone. He had stage IV lung cancer where the disease had spread to his other critical organs. Sharon and his parents were with him at the end while Jennie and I stayed with the kids. There was no fooling them.
