Students and teachers were pouring out of the classrooms and dorms wondering what was happening. Madame Pomfrey quickly used her fireplace to summon Dumbledore. Her only words were "It's Harry." Dumbledore quickly made an announcement to the whole school for all students to stay wherever they are until he made another announcement. He also temporarily suspended all classes for the day.
