    like a tornado had hit it and there was no sign of her cloths. Mom had lousy timing as within weeks of her leaving, the nature of Dad's new business allowed him to work at home. With remote access to the Web servers he only needed to go to the data center for client meetings. To Jessi this was a dream come true. Daddy was always around and she could spend more time with her favourite parent. Things seemed to be going well but on her twelfth birthday she didn't received a present or even a phone call from Mom. She knew other k**s who had divorced parents would regularly spend evenings or weekends with the one they didn't live with. When she asked Dad about it he told her that the divorce was finalized and he had sole custody. What really hurt was that Mom never showed up at the hearing and had already moved away. Meanwhile Dad, who had little education outside of what he'd learned on the job, was under the mistaken impression that all personality traits were inherited. This led him to conclude that because her Mother was a slut, Jessi was doomed to become one too. Dad reasoned that if he could channel Jessi's slutty nature to someone loving maybe he could save his special girl. Once a person like Dad made up his mind you'd be hard pressed to convince him otherwise. Sometime after her birthday Jessi got in trouble at school and they called him.     having her Mother's irresponsible nature. He decided to put his plan into action. The first thing he did was purchase a lockable cabinet, had a third key made then bought a stack of blank diaries. That evening he showed her the cabinet, gave her the original keys and the blank diaries. He told Jessi that it would be a good idea to record all her inner thoughts as a way to deal with the loss of her mother. He said that the locked cabinet would provide total privacy so she could write anything no matter how private. Even things she didn't want him to know. Jessi was thrilled with the idea and quickly adopted a habit of writing something in her diary almost every day. Of course this was just a way for Dad to monitor Jessi's behaviour. At least once a week, when she was at school, he'd open the cabinet with the third key and read any new entries. At first it was mostly boring and nothing of concern. That changed a week before she turned thirteen. Jessi and Dad were still getting together to read a bedtime story. After the story was done Jessi turned Dad's usual goodnight kiss from her cheek to her lips. A startled Father asks "What's up sexy?" his response delighted her. She just giggled and ran off to bed.
